Legions of ghouls celebrate your arrival this Halloween season after brooding through eleven moons of somewhat victimless nights. The Grove has grown wild and unkempt for so long. The living things thrive on your fears…so why not indulge your spine-tingling desire to feel that rush of fright and feed our monsters at the same time? OUR family sincerely enjoys frightening YOUR family year after year!
The midway at Hobb’s Grove has an old-time feel and features full concessions, warming fire pits, peddlers and entertainment. It’s a somewhat “safe” place to hang out for those who wish to be frightened no more and it’s the best people watching anywhere. There’s music and characters milling about making sure you feel welcome. On October 10th & 11th you can have your picture taken with the official “Next Elvira”! The Graveyard Dance Crew will be doing performances on our black ticket nights. The mesmerizing aerial silk performances by NOCO, FresnNODance COllective, are the 26th & 30th. The Enigma LIVE! will amaze everyone the 29th and the best party nights ever are Hallows Eve the 31st and The Bitter End, Last Night of Fright Nov. 1st. Join Us!
The Grove’s ticketed attractions include The Hollows haunted forest, the haunted hayride into Shadow’s Keep and The Hobb Home haunted house.
Acres of fun await you on the dreadful plot of land known as Hobb’s Grove. We’re located just outside of Sanger, only 20 minutes from Fresno, and we’re so easy to stumble across.
Once the sun sets, Hobb’s Grove’s ghastly ghouls welcome you into their dark abode. The night calls your name, inviting you inside the hopelessly cursed Haunted Forest, The Hollows, where the shadows come to life through the tangled trail in the deep darkness. You too will feel the excitement as your heart races with anticipation! Isn’t it nice to feel so… alive?!
Hobb’s Grove’s Haunted House features turn after twisted turn through the parlors and corridors of insanity! Those brave enough to enter are greeted by the unruly occupants of The Hobb Family Home. The walls are like sponges, soaking up the laughter, gasps and screams of victims, young and old. It’s a sinister place…so be careful not to take a wrong turn down a cold, dark hallway!
Out in the dark and dreary countryside for yet another ominous reunion with the night. The Hayride is scary and fun…something the younger ones can handle because they are free to bury their face in their parent’s lap when necessary. Cuddle up with your friends, your family and your neighbors on our bed of hay, because there is safety in numbers and you may well need it! Just don’t get too comfortable, because it’s in your best interest to pay attention to what’s lurking in the darkness!

We must ask that people do NOT wear masks to The Grove except for Halloween Night or The Bitter End party November 1st (On those two nights, go all out!), as they will not be allowed in. We cannot risk customers posing as crew members. “Mild costuming” will be allowed as long as guests DO NOT do anything that could lead other guests to believe they may be Hobb’s Grove folk. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
Kids 10 and under are welcome to dress up. We love little monsters in training. Muah ha ha!
Due to Fresno County requirements, The Grove is forced to stop operating by 10pm Sunday – Thursday and 12:00 midnight on Friday & Saturday.
The final week of haunts may be extremely busy and could sell out. We suggest you purchase your tickets online and arrive early.
All other nights are just as frightful and should guarantee enough time for a trip through all of the attractions if you arrive at least an hour and a half before closing.
